Scholarship Readiness & Strategy Review
One 60-minute session, plus a written diagnostic of where your student stands in four areas: coursework, extracurriculars, community service, and funding sources. You leave with a plan for the year ahead. If it was not worth what you paid, tell us within 7 days and we refund you in full.
The Strategy Review is normally $495. Through December 31, 2026, it is available for $295, and the full amount you pay still counts toward any package you continue into within three months.
Senior Sprint
Fall-semester support for a senior who is in the middle of it right now, built around college applications and the scholarship groundwork that follows.
- A written fall application calendar and deadline guidance
- Essay voice coaching on one essay, with one revision round. Your student chooses the essay, whether that is the Common App personal statement or another one.
- A scholarship list built for the deadlines that start in December
- Two one-on-one Zoom sessions during the fall semester
- A 30-minute interview briefing with Kim: what interviewers are listening for, the questions that trip students up, and a few practice answers before the first scholarship or admissions interview
Every family begins with the Strategy Review; if you continue into this package within three months, what you paid for the Review counts toward it in full. The full two-session Interview Prep with a mock interview is a separate service, listed below.
Senior Capstone
This is the everything package. From the first college deadline in the fall through the last scholarship decision in May, your student works with both of us, and every service on this page that a senior needs is already built in. Nothing gets added on later.
- A written application calendar with every college and scholarship deadline, and guidance on keeping to it
- Scholarship strategy built around your student, plus a scholarship list and an activity résumé developed together
- Essay coaching on up to eight essays: voice coaching and personal story framing first, then written feedback on each essay with a second read after revision
- Two Last-Look Application Reviews for the applications that matter most, with a full read of every section before they are submitted, plus proofreading of the rest, up to eight applications in all
- Interview Prep: two sessions with Kim, ending in a full mock interview with written feedback
- At least eight one-on-one Zoom meetings with Kim, Kelsey, or both, roughly one a month from September through May and timed to the points in the year that actually matter
- Email access to Kim and Kelsey for quick questions in between
A payment plan of four monthly installments is available. Ask when you book. We take on a limited number of Capstone families each year so that every student gets the attention this level of work requires.

Essay Review
Kelsey reads the essay against six dimensions and sends back written feedback, with a proofreading pass included. Essays up to 1,000 words, returned within five business days. This is feedback and coaching only. We do not write or rewrite a student’s essay.

Last-Look Application Review
The application is finished and the deadline is close. Before it goes in, we read the whole thing the way an admissions or scholarship reader will: every essay and short answer, the activities list, the honors section, and the questions families tend to rush. We check for errors, gaps, and places where one section contradicts another or undercuts the story the essays are telling.
You get written notes back within three business days, organized by section, with the fixes that matter most at the top. This is a review, not a rewrite. One Common Application counts as one application, however many colleges it goes to.
Interview Prep
For admissions interviews, scholarship finalist interviews, and honors college interviews. Most students have never been interviewed by an adult who is deciding something about them, and it shows in the first two minutes.
- Session one: what interviewers are actually listening for, how to talk about activities, setbacks, and plans without reciting a résumé, and the questions that trip students up
- Session two: a full mock interview with Kim, run the way the real one will be, followed by direct feedback while it is still fresh
- Written notes after the mock interview covering what worked, what to change, and how to prepare in the final days
One-on-One Session
A single focused session on whatever is most pressing for your family right now, with a written follow-up plan afterward. Families use it for a transition plan that needs more than boilerplate, the eighteenth birthday, a dispute with the school, or a school evaluation they are not sure they agree with.
For an evaluation, Kim reviews the report against what federal and California law require, identifies what was and was not assessed and what the report does and does not document, and prepares you for the meeting with written requests and questions. This is an advocacy review, not a clinical one. The school psychologist who wrote the report is responsible for explaining your child’s scores at the meeting, and the session makes sure that explanation is complete and that you leave with what you need in writing.

Foundation Family
An annual membership for families who want steady guidance while their student’s interests are still taking shape: course selection, activities, and which opportunities are worth saying yes to. Pay $149 a month, or $1,350 for the year up front and save $438. Cancel at any time if it turns out not to be the right fit for your family.
The membership year runs September through August. Founding members who join at the January 2027 launch are billed only for the months remaining through August 2027, and their first full September-through-August year begins in September 2027. Families who join at any other point in the year are handled the same way, with the monthly rate prorated from the month they join.

A written, self-paced course for the whole family: five short lessons with a worksheet for each, covering how to build a record that scholarship judges choose, where to find the scholarships most families miss, how to build one application and reuse it, how to write three essays that fit nearly every prompt, and how to ask a college for more aid.
One price covers every student in your family, and every future update is included. The full $197 counts toward a Strategy Review booked within 90 days.
The interest list gets first notice when the course opens in January.
CaT for Girls
Computing and technology courses taught live by Kelsey: Intro Python, Cybersecurity, Future-Proof: Using AI the Right Way, and Behind the Screen. Every course runs as two separate classes, one for 7th and 8th graders and one for grades 9 through 12, so the material fits the age in the room.
